Mona’s (Mondays) is supposed to be very good, but it doesn’t get going until 11 or 12am, and goes on most of the night; great for tourists and really young players; me, I’ve never been there…
Dempseys, on Tuesdays, is (usually) a bit amateur-hour, and a physical dump. Things pick up toward the weekend; too bad you’ll only be in NYC early in the week.
