Saving clips from you-tube

I dont have broad band so to download and watch clips from you tube takes ages .Is it possible to save them?

I desperation I actually videoed the clip with the record facility on my digital camera and put it onto media player ,its ok but would be better to save directly. Is it possible?

I use a firefox plugin called Media Pirate:

There are also several websites that will let you download YouTube vids without additional software of plugins. Then use an flv player to watch the vids offline.

Google “YouTube download”, or try one of these:

Are you on a mac? If you are, there are 2 really wonderful programs to use. One is called iSquint, but my preference is a new one I found today called Tooble.

again if you use Firefox then you can use Unplug

‘Realplayer’ will also save the clips and is free on a magazine cover disk this month
