Excellent player in excellent condition.
If you are looking for volume and a strong lower register with great barks and honks, you will like this flute. If this model is new to you; it has a tuning slide and long D foot. Nicely balanced, great intonation and with a very easy blowing embouchure.
Priced reduced to $450.
Did I mention that this would be a fine beginner flute? It is very easy to blow and get good tone. Breath requirement is not demanding as some Prattens may be. I would say it’s as easy as a large Rudall.
BTW, price is reduced again.
Hope this finds a happy home. I’ve owned/tried two delrin Seeries in the past year and they were both humdingers.
I thought I would mention why I am trying to sell my Seery; I have some pesky medical bills that need to be paid. I really like this flute but I need some cash. So, I’ll reduce the price to $425 shipped. This is a good deal!
Thanks, Cyril
Yes, very good deal! From Cyril’s description, it sounds like a very nice Seery-an easy embouchure and strong bottom end-just like the Seery I let get away from me a while ago when I wanted to try other flutes. I’d buy that one back in a minute if I had the chance.
This is a very reasonable price for a nicely made Delrin flute with a traditional tuning slide-no others around now for this price. Seerys have a very nice and distinctive voice too. And Cyril says it honks and barks-what else could you ask for? Edit: Oh yeah, you can play them sweetly and quietly too! Just wish I had the extra cash to get it myself!
Ah c’mon. Someone grab this now before I do. And I already have one just like this, my girlfriend would never forgive me! ![]()
And it would take many months before I could buy another batch of
whisky ![]()
oh my word … I think there’s a bank down the street I can ro…err…get a loan from. ![]()
I doubt it ![]()
Today, the wolf went away from my front door. So, I can hold on to my flute for awhile. Thanks to those who expressed an interest; however, I am withdrawing my sales offer for the time being. As someone said: timing is everything. Cheers, Cyril.
Glad to hear it Cyril.
I’d think a Seery flute could be farily useful in defending oneself from a wolf. ![]()
