I’ve had this flute a couple years now – bought it used here on C&F. It’s your standard large-holed nearly indestructible all-wheel-drive Pratten style delrin Seery. Goes anywhere, no worries, yet holds its own in public as well. I’ve found I really prefer a Rudall style flute. I recently bought a Copley delrin to take over the travel duties, and it seems to suit me better.
The Seery is in excellent shape, polishes up to original shine with just a soft cloth. No scratches or blemishes I can find. Comes in a wooden case - photo available (of the box - the flutes all look the same!). $475 includes shipping to the US.
Cathy - I’ll tell you, there have been times over the years that I’d have paid you to take her! She’s an 8-yr-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, who flunked out of the show ring because she hated it and couldn’t even begin to pretend it was fun. She’s stunningly beautiful, but has an oppositional defiant streak in her that would make a black hole feel feather light. Most times she’d pretty darned lovable, though, and there hasn’t been a lion sighted in Pownal since I adopted her!
Linda might not see this if you just bumped it up without contacting her-she’s been a little busy at work from what she told me, when I inquired about it not long ago. But, her Seery was still available, and it’s at a nice price too, especially with the wooden case from Desi!
