Pakistani. Unfortunately they didn’t have a tuner handy when it was made! One of the C&Fer’s (name is withheld to protect the innocent) brought me one of these things, It needed a little more wood between the upper section and the foot… I wouldn’t bother removing the keys, just chuck it right in the fire!
It’s pretty, but ‘pretty to look at’ means little when it comes to ‘pretty’ of sound. The holes look rough, which would likely adversely affect the sound quality.
