i thinking about going to the Irish Center/Commodore Barry Club (philadelphia) for the session this friday at 9pm. Is there anyone (im sure there is) on this forum that could give me some insight on the session; repetoire, skill level, ect.

they get pretty fast too!
A very long ride for you though you may want to plan a weekend when
they have music all three days I take my wee lass on sundays for step dancing and they have groups doing slow session once a month
the Phila Irish music school has lessons also. they just had an open house weekend on Oct. 30th I met Michael Copeland then had a nice chat with him nice guy

I was just there last weekend. Wonderful session, great fun, and the people were very nice. There is also a session at Fergie’s on Saturday that is an excellent session with some amazing musicians.
