He’s spot on about sometimes having to make a few for a chanter before satisfaction, (and sending blind is an even more precarious zone for several reasons which I’m sure are obvious) but most people probably think their chanter is the bees knees anyway, and just send it regardless.
Maybe it’s time for the reedmakers to have a good old moan!!
Trouble is, there’s just something in the voice of a reedless piper that you just can’t ignore.
