I’ve had another chance to read through this and must again say that it’s an excellent guide. Anyone beginning to play the pipes should not be allowed to buy their pipes until they have read it.
Kudos to PS for providing this valuable, and ironically free, guide to reed maintenance and adjustment.

I forgot to mention that the guide contains approx. 15 pages, with plenty of diagrams. I read it cover to cover in about 30 minutes. Amazing how much good information can be squeezed into such a short document.
