My grandmother is having her 80th birthday party next week, and my aunt wants my sisters and I to play some songs for her that were popular in the early-to-mid 1940’s, when she was dating my grandfather. Some of the titles she suggested are:
The A-Train
Chattanooga Choo Choo
Anapola
Moon Over Miami
Blue Moon
Three Little Fishies
I have heard of a couple of these songs, but have no idea what they sound like or where I could find music on the internet for them. I’ve been searching but haven’t come up with anything much. Does anyone have any info or sites that could help? I sure would appreciate it! If we find anything, I guess we will be playing them on whistle and guitar.
