It makes me happy when people who are asked to give things a rest actually do it.
It would make me happy if I knew that he had this thing in a pond or a nice big tank where it has room to grow like it’s supposed to instead of in a bowl where its growth will be stunted and its organs will get deformed and it will eventually end up swimming around in a stew of festered uneaten food and its own urine.

I have a bodhran. People asked me to give it a rest. I have done for several years now, and I’ve noticed an increase in happiness all around me. But people are never satisfied. Exactly how, then, did you mean it? As a reader I am confused by this sentence in your first post which appears to have little relevance to the issues about goldfish. I can only conclude that it is a dig at another issue about which Lambchop suuggests you give iit a rest. And, what about your topic title?
