Hi there Fergus,

Are you a salesman for Rogge?

Seamus

Hi Seamus

I am not a saleman for Rogge. I am just getting a new D plumwood chanter and selling my 3 years old D ebony chanter.

Regards

Sorry Fergus, I’m just messing mate. Good luck with your new chanter.

Seamus

Fergus, I don’t remember asking this… How long was the wait for Rogge to make the chanter?

Placed the order for the my new A. Rogge lefthanded D chanter plumwood brass/boxwood with 4 keys F, G#, Bb and C in Ocotber 2002.

Just got photo this morining from Andreas of my new chanter.

Andreas will be sending me my new chanter sometime this week

All the best

what a fascinating assortment of stuff
I wonder most of all what the big nutcracker-thing in the bottom-left corner is for :boggle:
nice chanter too, actually.

Fine adjustment tool… metric version

Knock on wood?

I have not had luck getting through to Andreas’ shop via email. Fergus seems to have no trouble. Anyone else not getting through to his shop? I have a B set that has been on order for two and a half years. I wouldn’t mind getting a few snaps of it myself from Andreas…even if it was all in pieces or being threatened by a big hammer…

Looks like he’s into chucks.

Hi Tommy

What email did you use. I use dr.pipes@t-online.de email.

I would only get a reply by starting of the message with what I said yesterday

Hi Andreas

Please let me known tomorrow Tuesday 13 January 2004 about the following

Have you got any photos of the Left-handed D plumwood brass/boxwood chanter with 4 keys that you can email me with.

Has the sterling cheque arrived yet with you. When will you posting stuff by normal post"

I had times when I didn’t get email back for a long time, I would keep senting emails until I once got a reply from Jens .

First of all let me say that multiple correspondences via available media is not suitable to speed up the process. I hope that does not sound too arrogant but sorting out mail is a very time consuming business, time we’d rather making pipes.

Regards

Hmmmmm…

Got email from Jens who works with Andreas Rogge.

Hi Fergus,

the chanter will ship today.

best regards

Jens

Bye foe now

Who’s the Jens that’s working with Andreas? Is it Jens Komnick, by any chance?

Jens Kommnick (www.jenskommnick.de) is a sought-after multi-instrumentalist, teacher etc. who lives in the North of Germany. He played on Brian McNamara’s solo CD for instance. Andreas’s assistant’s name is Jens Wendel, a very competent, and very nice bloke from ‘de Palz’.
