Hey! any pipers in the Memphis area? I will be traveling to memphis for work several times in March and April and was wondering whos’s there and if there is a regular session or pipers organization. No info on the city guide forum. I hope to bring my pipes, but at least my whistle. Unfortunately, I will only be there one or two nights at a time.
Sorry John, not much to offer in Memphis when I moved away last May. Several folks worked pretty hard for well over a year to get something going but just couldn’t get it started. There are whistles, fiddles, flutes, dulcimers, and percussionists but no regular sessions. Unfortunately I never ran into any pipes.
Maybe someone has got something going and will see your post. Next clossest to Memphis is Little Rock.
