Very cool! ![]()
Impressive that you can hear the flute when playing along side the accordion. But maybe that’s microphone-magic?
Thanks for sharing!

Henke - a great listen, Thanx.
thanks for posting!
dont you always talk down your playing?
Thanks for the replies.
bayswater- I don’t really have a problem hearing it alongside the accordion, amplified or not. D-whistles are usually no problem for me eighter, but they need to be heavily amplified to be heard out. C-whistles need even heavier amplification to be heard both by me and the audience.
daiv- Not sure what you’re refering to. I consider myself an amature musician, and I don’t really aspire to be anything more than that. There really isn’t a lot of competition on the flute scene where I come from, but here on this board there are lot of players who are a lot better than me.
Now for the $1000 question. Can anyone guess what type of flute has been used on the recording?
i was basing that off of a foggy remembrance of a post from several years ago. how much things change in years, i suppose. then again, maybe it wasnt you! it’s hard to keep things straight when everyone keeps changing their profile pics.
was it an m&e? i only say that because i’m wanting the answer to be shocking!
Right on the money. Can you tell if it’s the polymer or wooden headjoint ![]()
i’m going to go with wood.
i’m so nervous! ![]()
