Hi guys. Here is an article about my band if anyone is interested. It’s only available in Swedish tough so the only thing for you non Swedes there is an mp3 at the bottom of the page. There is a link that says: Klicka Här, that’s the one. The tune is a reel written by me (Henrik Johansson) and our accordionist Markus Räsänen. The recording is not perfect, we only had about 4 hours to record and sound mix, and for us amatures, that is not enough.

I think you don’t need as much recording time as you think… LOL!

Yeah, you guys have a pro sound going there! Way to go!
Have any slow airs on low whistle? Would love to hear some like that-just low D and guitar, some accordian drones, maybe a bodhran.
Or are you just too young and full of energy for that kind of music?

Re Jashobeam: The guitar is a steel stringed acoustic guitar. Can’t remember the brand but it’s a nice looking thing with blue metallic paint on the body :wink: . The whistle I use is a Nickel Generation D with very little tweaking that I borrowed for this recording. My own whistles were at home and as I said, we were very short of time. It caused me a bit of a headace but worked out O.K. in the end.

Spiderweb… We do have some slow and sentimental tunes, but I haven’t used the Low whistle for quite some time now. When I go tenor I usually grab my flute but it would be nice to do some low whistle stuff as well, thanks for the tip.

Thanks again for all the comments. I’ll let you now if we record anything else. We are quite bussy with gigs right now so there is not much time for studio work. I want to make a 15 track cd, but that would take months and months to complete :boggle:
