lowD clarke?

hiya. I can remember in an old post, quite a while ago, there was talk about copeland and clarke teaming up to make a lowD-clarke. Anybody know what’s going on there?
Cheers, Amar.

The talk has been circulating basically forever.

It’s still rumoUr as far as I know…

Amar Lives!!!

Not a rumour, it’s the truth.

Jim

Details, please?

Loren old buddy, nice to see you.

When will they be available?

In fact, they are, already…

:stuck_out_tongue:

in my dreams

I asked this very question to Norman Danatt of Clarke Whistles about five years back. He said it was a nice idea but nothing was in the pipeline then so to speak. sounds like Jim has more info on current events though. Jimmy boy don’t hold out on us!!

B~

I think we may be having our collective legs pulled.

I don’t think Jim Rementer is the type to fool around about such things…

Amar, hey man, nice to see you still get the odd moment to check out what’s happening in the whistle world.

Let’s collectively hope not!

We have a prototype in Low D and Low G. Things from our side could be done in the next few months. As far as Clarke taking the design and putting it into production, that’s another issue. It could easily take a year or more to tool up and get the thing right.

Jim

hmm, whistle world is in a transition period. In many ways.

JiM, don’t I, errrr, get the privilege to test those prototype-babies…emmm, afterall I brought up this thread…emmm…

I anticipate the Clarke low G to be a monumental thing in the history of tinwhistles, and hopefully the best thing to happen.

Any news on the Copeland-Clarke hybrid? or would that be a chimera?

Maybe if this threat gets enough input we can will it to happen!

yo, i’m not threatening nobody!

Oh yea. Duh, er, ah, “THREAD”

I got lost trying to translate into Swiss.
