Looking for music for a Cherish the Ladies song

Anyone familiar with Cherish the Ladies?
I’m looking for some written music for Track 7 off of the Threads of Time recording. I would give you the name of the song but I don’t have it in full. It’s a beautiful song.

According to my sources (Amazon.com), track #7 would be Battle of Aughrim/The Star Above the Garter.

Use JC Tune Finder to find the midi and sheet music for each song.

Good luck.

Nope, never heard of them!

P.S. - Hi, Joanie!

BTW, I emailed Joanie about that song and asked her what key whistle she played in it. She wrote back and said it’s a Bb.

What a nice thing that is!

If it’s Battle of Aughrim, it’s one of my favorites, a march. If you can’t find it let me know and I’ll copy the sheet music and mail it to you.

PhilO I would love it if you could copy the music for me. Thanks so much.

CQ - Check your pvt. mess.

Do you think Joanie ever lurks around the boards to see what’s going on?

Someone posted once that she sometimes visits. Good thing we all love her.

I take guitar lesson from Mary Coogan she say that Joanne sometime mentions Chiff & Fipple. Mary is a real sweetheart by the way and a great teacher.
Joanne besides being a great musician is an astute business woman and is aware of her market. Since we (C&F) are such a larger group of students of ITM and in a diverse area it is wise for any traditional musician to check the site out periodically. Just the same as it is with instrument manufacturers who look to the members of this board to be their spokes men to the world. It a symbiotic relation ship for those wise enough to make use of it.

I will as Mary to see if Joanne has the tune written out and if she can get you a copy of it.

I actually have two copies and one is on the way to you. If Wizzy can find the actual sheet music the way Joannie M. plays it, you can really have some fun!

Take care,

Philo

The first part of that statement gets a HUGE second from me!

If I ever got a chance to take guitar lessons from her, I would camp out at the registration desk!
