I want to says thanks for all the great information I’ve picked up about whistles, in the short time I’ve been coming to this site.

This is a super site, lots of good humour, about whistles and otherwise.

I got my whistles, yesterday, and none of you may care, but I was pretty excited.

I think all of us can understand. There’s nothing as good as opening the mailbox and finding a long, narrow package when you’re expecting a new whistle.

I hope your title doesn’t mean you don’t intend to return now that they’re here, though I have to admit that if some of us weren’t oline so much we might actually practice more.

mmmm…yes, practice, that which is supposed to make one better at doing whatever they’re practicing at.

I bought three Susato whistles. One is a side-bore (actually that’s wide-bore, not to be confused with the “seven of nine” who is a very “thin-borg”) and my fingers ache when I hold it too tight, ahhhhhh, so you say, don’t hold it tight!!!

It takes a moment or two for my “loosen up” thoughts to get to my fingers. Seriously though, is this something players have a problem with? Also I’m using the “piper grip”, cause my hands are small, and I’m practicing for the moment when I get my pipes.

(whenever that may be)
