just curious does anyone know how much a koehler & qinn full set would go for these days and what kind of waiting list they have

As many top players own K&Q intruments, I would imagine they have a long waiting list.
However, it is better to get it from the horse’s mouth.

Most sets they craft are custom or else based on new design plans they wish to try and, depending on mounts, materials, pattern/style, the price of a set may vary by thousands of dollars. I’m sure there must be a “standard” pricing. The most fair approach in dealing with a pipemaker is to explicitly state what it is you wish to have done on a new set and then to pay the price quoted. Most folks are shocked at the price of pipes these days. Believe me, K&Q pipes are worth every cent you will pay and more. I’m sure this is true of a few other makers as well. One thing I’ve learned in the past 6.75 years of piping is that you really indeed do get what you pay for with regard to pipes these days.
