I’m in the midst of Holiday cleaning and bill paying (wouldn’t you know it!), so I haven’t had a chance to give it more than a brief play, but suffice it to say I’m totally smitten! I’ll post more in a day or two, when I’ve had a chance to really give it a workout, but I have a feeling this whistle and I are going to become very good friends!
Christmas came early to the Santa Cruz Mountains!
(BTW, they’re even prettier in person than they are on the website).
I got a D tube in “Emerald Gold” and a C tube in “Starry Night.” Both are really lovely.
I’m planning on posting a more in-depth review either this weekend or early next week…I want to spend some time exploring the nuances of this lovely whistle before I post, lest I be accused of just being excited because I have a pretty new “toy”
I can’t remember the exact date, but I believe it was in mid-late October. Sandy mailed them before Thanksgiving, but it took them a while to get here. Our mail all goes through San Jose first, then through Santa Cruz, before making it up to the mountains, so I always figure it will take about a week longer for me to receive something than it would someone else nearer a major city.
