A month or so ago, someone posted a link to a source for streaming Irish traditional music online. I’ve done a search without success. Does anyone remember it?
Thanks!

Yup!
Thanks, Rando.

Jerry,
unfortunately that station seems to play the exact same session everytime. In fact, I have heard it many times. It is very good, but I get tired of the same songs over and over again. Here is a great website that has some streaming Irish music:
The best program is:
Ceol na nGael
They have some great archived stuff. This is up in your neck of the woods.
Best,
Michael
Thanks for the link-good stuff.
Mike

Exactly correct. When it was a way of life, dancing to a repetitive music became the standard, so like many folkdance genres an hour of it can begin to sound tiresome if you aren’t dancing. In fact it could not have been otherwise since in the early days most Irish music WAS bardic not rhythmic.
Look, then, for songs, airs and such if you would like varied - and IMHO - healthier selections of this music.
