Hmm, looks like I beat Denny to the punch on this one. Its International Astronomy Day. Here’s what’s going on in Canada: Royal](http://www.rasc.ca/astroday/index.shtml%22%3ERoyal) Canadian Astronomical Society . What’s going on in your little world?

That kind of information takes three weeks by subspace transmission to reach my little world, so I won’t know about it untill mid May.

The big thing here to watch for tonight is the crescent moon in the west hanging over a very large Venus. There’s supposed to be one of the oldest known comets on the extreme western horizon just after sunset - maybe a half hour window to see it. Can’t remember the name … Eke? Ikeya? Something like that.
I suppose a bit o’ them Lurid meteors might be nice, too.

The moon & Venus were great…facing the wrong way in the hot tub though…
That half hour from sunset was so months ago.

You’re so spoilt!
Looks like there’s an aurora alert for April 21 and 22. Of course, Denny’s seen them all before, too.

Leos love spoilt!!!
too south and too close to civilization here…
Missed McNaught, we’re on an east facing hill and sundown is chore time.
You SAW that? It looks like a giant pin, or a one sided Q-Tip under the moon. Why is it there? I know, I know…click the picture
I clicked the picture, and it still looks like a giant one sided Q-Tip to me.
