So my daughter Brianna and I were working on some “art” last night and I made the mistake of showing her the picture tubes in my Paint Shop Pro program. Well, needless to say, she went nuts! I hope this isn’t what’s in her sweet little head ALL the time!
See what you have to look forward to Jessie! I think I was most disturbed by the poor little butterfly there who got zapped by the lightning…PULL UP FLUTTERBY! PULL UP!!!
Beautiful in sentiment and color, although it could alternatively serve as a new Rohrschach test or a WC Fields dream (American war plane escorted by butterflies attacks flying fish and a panther, as WC looks on, hmmmm…)
My wee one is 9, though SHE WILL BE 10! in January. She’s quite the goof. Must get every bit of it from her mother. I must admit, the plane was my idea from back in my flight school days a couple years back. But Nanna came up with the “Wrath of God” lightning and the dandelions in the grass. I suppose is’t a nice juxtaposition of opposites there…as well, back to the frogs…er…I mean my Coke..
Hey Dale! Should I have by Nanna do a pic for the front page of C&F?
Brian, for some reason I had no idea you were a parent. …learn something new everyday! I am definitely looking forward to seeing how my child’s creativity will come out.
Ooooooooohhhh!!! What a little artist she is!!! Don’t squelch it…let her go…what beautiful things she has in her head!!!
Keep it up!!! If she is interested in art…have her show her work at www.wetcanvas.com It is a wonderful art community!! I am Nancymae over there too!!! They have a digital/computer art forum over there!!
Maybe surrealism is the realm of children rather than adults, who spend so much time thinking of thinking of painting! I like the work of children and wish that sometimes I have that naivity.
So Brian how much time are you going to give her on the computer now!
Yep! Loud and flashy pretty much describes my little one Bloomy! I have no idea where she gets it! I gave her a whistle a couple of years ago too - mostly to annoy her Mother. It worked. She’s equally garish on the whistle too!
So I guess it wouldn’t supprise anyone to know thet her favorite tune on the whistle is the infamous C# tune? It goes as follows: (played insanely loud) C#-C#-C#-C#-C#-C#-C#…ad nauseum. She’s quite good at it actually. So Dale - hows about it? should we commission her to do a page or two for C&F? LOL
