Here is a picture I drew for a little boy i met the other day. His name is Christopher (like mine) and his favorite thing in the whole world is Irish music and his fiddle. We spent two hours (while at session) talking about differences in regional playing styles, differences between various musicians, and how much we both love the music. Seriously, I had a better conversation about Irish music with this 5 year old boy than I’ve had with almost anyone else. He knew all the great fiddlers, knew tune names, etc. The kid was amazing. I drew this picture for him and have yet to give it to him. I hope he likes it.
The second picture here is one I drew a while back and based the fiddle wizard on… it’s a flute playing wizard.
Best,
Chris

The prob has to do with URL encoding. Make sure that your links arent converted to encoded URls. For example, spaces are replaced with %20 etc. I think the parser of this forum might not be as advanced as our standard MS browser. What’s the HTML code u’re writing up?
.. and also I think source of the problems is that you seem to enjoy putting spaces in filenames… Don’t!!! You’ll always end up having probs on different OSes when you use spaces in filenames…
I think you just replace the %20 with a real space… Anyway when I copy and paste the link in a browser and replace %20 with a space, I can see the picture… Sorry my brain is going crazy too much red wine… But yeah that’s try, try replacing the %20 with spaces… Nice pictures by the way, nice stuff.
Chris, I’m hoping and well on the way to planning that my daughter will be like this boy. Not necessarily Irish music, but some sort of music. (I’m not trying to make superbaby, I just think that she has a talent.)
My wife has sung things (like chores, etc) to the tune of Camptown Races to our daughter, now 1.25 years old, for quite some time. Doo-Dah was probably about her tenth word, and she now actually sings the tune pretty damn well. Of course, she plays a C# on the whistle like nobody’s business. Other notes only when she lets us put our hands on the whistle.
That should do it. Success?
Could someone confirm that it worked? You don’t even need to say what you think of the pictures, just let me know if they are showing up
I built three computers in the last three weeks and I can’t even figure out html. What the heck is my problemo?
