With the upcoming arrival of a new set of pipes, I am looking to part with the set I have. I don’t really know how to value it however. This is what I have- A half set by Robbie Hughes. Good condition, though the tenor drone has warped, but does not affect the playability. In addition, there are two regulators by Chris Bayley. I also have a concert pitched chanter by Tony Hebdon that I would sell as well. Oh, sorry, the set in question is a concert pitched set. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
If you remember what you paid for the different parts you could use the combined total as an asking price. At least that way you won’t sustain a financial loss. The recession is still with us and folks are holding on to their pennies so if you were to get back what you paid out prehaps that’s enough?
Well, thanks for that. I traded some instruments for various parts of the set. Going to take some serious memory drugs to recall all the various wheelings and dealings! Damn!
