Hot Beer

Apparently the latest (or soon to be latest) thing in Japan is hot beer:

Now, initially, my reaction was “eh?” but after thinking about it I’m intrigued and reckon it could be quite nice. Don’t imagine it would work with lagers or pale ales but something strong and dark like the stout pictured might lend itself well to a little bit of heating up.

Er… why would you, sorry, whoever told you the story have to boil the beer before drinking it? Surely normal beer is just as able to be drank through a straw as boiled.

nothing new I used to microwave my bottled Guinnesses (this is in my 20’s before the advent of the spaceage ‘tap-can’).
