Should be preceded by:

“And now, for something completely different…”

:boggle:

…that might be…

…The Coolest Thing…

…I HAVE EVER SEEN…

…IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! :swear: :swear: :swear:

Wouldn’t it be painful getting chest-hair tangled in the stop-key? Imagine having to then pop the chanter.

The tune is the Golden Keyboard, if I’m not mistaken.

Northern Europeans seem to get off on this average rock mixed with average trad.

Yes, that reminded me of the similar Corvus Corax, you can also find lots of videos of them at Youtube, though they don’t seem to use UP.

In extremo is a german medieval rock band. Is saw them live two years ago.. Most of the time they play their medieval bagpipes but on the new album they use the uilleann pipes in one song.

Gosh! It’s just so … so … Celtic! :astonished:

djm

Saw them live on a festival some days ago. I must admit that I really don’t get the point how they kept that set in tune, weather was more than %§%@ and they played open air.

Oh, and I don’t find it that bad at all. Not trad, not celtic, but cool somehow. But I won’t buy CDs from them.

Good heavens!

man..
can u imagine..
‘daddy, I met a guy & well, can I bring him home?’

METAL RULES!!!

I heard they launch oiled up dwarves out of the medieval pipe drone during the encore.

I’ll see you “In Extremo” and raise you an “Oort”.

I like the guy strapped to a lap harp, like it’s a saxaphone…

Let’s see if it floats. :boggle:

Been there, and done that (back in the ‘80’s)…you should have seen the look on my mothers’ face!

Cass.

Great band!!

how often do you get to see a crowd throwing rock hands at a dude playing a harp?

that totally made my day when i saw it.

and if ever there was a bagpipe capable of launching dwarves, i do believe we just saw it. nice. those things are freakin’ monstrous.

… I am speechless… for once…
