Could you give more information please - I can’t quite tell what I’m looking at in the picture, or which one of those chanters is for sale. Is the one on the right a practice chanter or just not tied in? Would it be terribly difficult to round out the set do you think?

These are two chanters by the same maker, Xose Luis Lopez Bao, a famous maker because their bagpipes has really loud drones. He has made really beautifull bagpipes with an own characteristic appearance.
The chanter on sale is on the left, with the metal ring, plays really good in open fingering with all chromatic tones and in half-closed fingering. The other, with the imitation ivory ring, is a D chanter (not a practice chanter, is a profesional model), and plays very well in open and closed fingering. These two chanters are fitted in a Xose Luis Lopez Bao´s Bagpipe, with the drones in C or D, I can choose the tunning using the correct drone reeds.

Ok Friend. Well I think 300 euros it´s a good price fot the two chanters, C and D. If you think that 250 euros it´s the modern price for 1 boxwood chanter, then you can see it´s a good price
And for the complete bagpipe with the two chanters, maybe 1100 euros.
About the wait, I must ask in the post office, but I think the services are: 10 days (urgent) one month (non-urgent).
The reason is: I don´t play very much the C chanter. I can sell the D chanter also because I have others like it.

My first idea was to sell ONLY my C chanter for 150 euros, but now I can sell the two chanters for 300 euros if you want. If you are interested in only ONE chanter, it´s not a problem 
I can sell it. If you are interested in the TWO chanters, it´s not a problem.
The price of 300 euros includes the TWO chanters in C and D, no drones, no bag, no blowpipe.
Unfortunately, you can´t order the rest of bagpipe to the same man, because He is now an old man and he don´t make bagpipes anymore.
You can order a set of drones in boxwood to a good Galician Maker, for example, you can order the drones, the bag, the blowpipe and the bag cover to my friend Diego Piñeiro, He can make a good bagpipe for use with the chanters I´m selling. Their prices are about 700 euros and he usually needs a few months for make it.
If you want my complete personal bagpipe, with the two chanters, you can buy it for 1100 euros, it´s not a very good price, but I prefer to sell only the chanters, because I love the rest of the pipe (the drones sounds very good and the boxwood it´s beautifull).
Please ask me more questions if you need. Finally do you find my chanters interesting for you?

That is all clear now, thankyou, and yes, I do think the price is good too. I am interested and am considering it and trying to justify it to myself, but I am not sure I can manage it at the moment, as graduate school is tricky on the question of money. If someone else comes in with an offer, you should certainly take it. I will give it serious thought in the meantime though. Thanks very much for all the information about them and in general.
