GALICIAN CLOSED FINGERING Chanter in Bb in Granadillo with no rings 8all in granadillo) from SEIVANE, the best maker of galician pipes and the father of SUSANA SEIVANE, the famous piper.
OPEN FINGERING chanter from ANTON VARELA, in Granadillo with imitacion Ivory ring. (the bagpipe has 2 years old)

CLOSED FINGERING in Bb. It´s a reproduction of a XIX siecle Chanter from PERFECTO FEIJOO, the first piper who records a disc (Aires D´a Terra) with a french gramophone company. In cocobolo wood with boxwood ring. Big Reed.
More similar to the scottish pipes. Non- tempered scale.

Wow! A great stuff and a very good prices too. :astonished:

The first pipes was made by the piper of the famous galician band “Os Cempés”, Antón Varela that he is a known pipe maker too. It’s a full set, with the three drones, plus one chanter from Seivane (one of the best galician pipe maker today) made in galician closed fingering style, a particular and traditional galician digitation with a very good sound that “cracks” like a highland pipe!

I don’t know who is Xavier García (i think he’s not galician), but the second pipe’s chanter is from Alfonso Castro, who make the pipes for “Berrogüetto”, another renowned galician band.
