I’ve been acquiring a few low & alto whistles recently to try them out for size, and some of them just aren’t for me; maybe they’re for you. I’m a relatively new member here, but you can check my eBay profile (100% positive feedback) here: (and just to remove all doubt, see the description of this book)

Here’s what I have to offer. Prices include shipping & insurance within the US. International buyers welcome but be aware that insured shipping can be expensive (though I will discount US shipping cost from total).

  1. Susato M-series G/A/Bb set. Bought new, played a few times. Comes with vinyl case, joint grease, & paper with instructions/care tips/etc. $100.

  2. Susato Dublin 2-piece low D with 1 key: bought used on eBay, came with o-ring tweak on mouthpiece. There is no o-ring that I can see in the tuning joint - should there be one? Includes thumb rest. Some wear at mouthpiece. $50.

  3. Howard low D: also bought used on eBay. Finish worn at toneholes, barrel is very slightly dented/misshapen. $50

  4. Whistlesmith low F: bought new from maker, played a few times. F# hole in 2nd octave sounds a bit flat to my ear, would probably be easy to widen it but I didn’t want to mess around with it. $35.
