FS: Rose blackwood whistle with gold plate - best offer

Update: I have interest and am happy to end this sooner than I thought.
I’ll let the “winner” know first thing Friday morning.
Then we can get the deal done before I leave for over a week.

I will consider any serious offers $200.00 or greater.
US packing, shipping & insurance: $10.00;
Overseas: $20.00.

Okay, I’m insane.

It’s in perfect condition.
Nothing wrong with it.

So, what’s wrong with me?
I keep experimenting with other whistles and keep returning to my Abells.
Complete with case, this whistle is Fred’s older style (looks brand new) with the gold plated mouthpiece and ferrules.
He does not do the gold plate any more and won’t (I’ve asked him).

His current whistles are 180 pounds sterling, and that’s silver without gold plate.

Thanks for reading.

does it look like this?

Yes, it looks like that one - being a Rose with gold plate.

I was not the winner of that eBayed Rose, however.

Are people able to contact Mr. Rose via internet now? I’ve had my Rose for a few years now, but it didn’t come with a case (I bought it from a person on this list.) At that time, I was not able to find a way to contact him – I’d like to get a case from him for my whistle, if that’s possible.

Thanks much,
Starr

I’ve got one of these beauties and I sure paid full price for it. It is a real fine whistle and I have no regrets about acquiring it–other than not having waited for one at a price this attractive.
