If that’s a Tenor, this is a terrific deal for someone who’s interested. A C Tenor is pitched like a low D whistle and has similar (but not identical) fingering. The Yamaha ones are really excellent and play as well as wooden ones costing $$$$
Wow…a xaphoon. One of the best “odd” instruments I’ve ever had the privilege to purchase. I purchased mine about a year ago, and play it almost every day. It has a great sound, which sounds like a clarinet or sax, whichever you need, whenever. Growing up, I tried the tenor sax, (all the saxes for that matter) and had no luck whatsoever. But with the xaphoon, its like a dream come true. It’d make a great instrument for anyone’s collection. If I needed another one, I’d buy it quick, fast, and in a hurry. I’ve played both the bamboo and polymer (the one I have), and personally, I prefer the polymer, as the sound is smoother.
