Hi Folks,
Unfortunately, I need to clear out some instruments for personal reasons. It stinks that I have to do this as many are practically brand new and I’ll lose money, but they all must go. Payment can be made with a bank check, personal check, money order, or PayPal. If you pay by check I have to wait until it clears to ship. McGee Pratten 6-key (blackwood)
This flute was made in 2003/2004 and is in perfect condition. Serial #309. Regularly oiled and humidified. Keys and rings are gorgeous. Terry’s keywork is the best I’ve encountered; perfect placement and feel. This is a LOUD, LOUD flute. If you want to be heard this is the flute for you. This one has what Terry calls the eccentric bore head and rounded rectangular embouchure, which is quite forgiving. I had asked Terry to make a new head with an elliptical embouchure as that’s what I prefer. Terry has graciously offered to extend this to the next owner. Sooo..try out this embouchure. If you decide it’s not for you, you can swap the head and barrel for a new one with the embouchure of your choosing. You’ll have to cover postage (of just the head and barrel combination) both ways though if you decide to go this route. The flute comes with a gorgeous case made by Terry. This would be US$3600 with the case according to Terry’s current prices. I’m asking US$3000. You save six hundred bucks and no wait.

Only the McGee 6-key Pratten is still available. Update: I will cover shipping and insurance anywhere! Hopefully that’ll sway some of you. Will also consider a partial trade if that’ll help you cover some of the cost, like a keyless Bb or Eb. PM me. This’ll go on EBAY :astonished: in a week or so.
