Puleeeeze, Help!
I’m being overrun by low D whistles! I can’t keep them all! Whistle feed keeps going up, and my wife is giving me De-Whistle glances! (just kidding) So help a fellow Chiffer get back to ALMOST
normal; buy a couple or three, THANKS! All prices include shipping to Continental USA.
#1) Kerry Low D
, tunable plastic head, aluminum body satin finish
-Large diameter tube (same dia as Howard), slightly smaller toneholes and a little less volume than
Howard and lowest D&E notes not quite as strong as Howard, but good
-Airier, brighter, more common aluminum low whistle tone.
-Takes the most breath of the three to play-very easy blowing
-Price $55 shipped in USA-[That’s about half of retail right now!]
Also, just added: Highland Pipes (Scottish) Practice Chanter:
#2) I bought this with the intention of learning the Highland pipes, and then started playing whistle, and don’t see myself starting them anytime soon. So, I figured it can be enjoyed and serve someone well, in the mean time.
It’s a True-Tone long practice chanter, made of black poly with the built in water trap and recessed tone holes for easier fingering. And it has the easier playing and more reliable plastic reed. The retail is about $80 to $100 depending on where you buy it. I paid $90 when I bought it from a local piping supply store.
The poly chanters are easily cared for and have the advantage of not being affected by humidity, heat and cold like wooden ones, and are well thought of for practice chanters. And the same goes for the plastic reeds.
Included is a good starting instruction book by the College of Highland Piping, for which I paid $14. Both the book and the chanter are like new.
I will sell the package for $65 shipped in the continental US. I can take PayPal if it is a direct payment(no credit card) or a Postal Money Order or Cashier’s check are also fine.
Email or PM me if you would like it. There’s still time to get it by Christmas! Thanks for looking!

Note: It always takes time to get familiar with a whistle, and on my first play on some of these, it was not all easy to get used to, but after you do get comfortable with them, you will find that each one is an easy playing, no problem whistle.
As such, I do hate to get rid of them, but I would rather have someone enjoy them, than them sitting unplayed but once in a while.
I also would say that if you have small hands, these would probably not be the best choices(with the exception of the practice chanter).
Email me if you are interested, and thanks for looking!
