I have for sale the following items:
Kirk Lynch Concert Chanter: Materials are ebony, boxwood and brass. The chanter is fitted with the brass reedcap and a Cnat and Fnat keys. I purchased this from a fellow C&F member about a year ago; I was led to believe this was a 2002-03 make and I am the third owner. The chanter has been extremely well cared for and shows no sign of its age other than a brass patina; very clean! The keypads are in excellent shape and air tight. The key action is smooth and functioning perfectly. The reed that came with the chanter from the last owner in Chicago did not survive in my climate and I have been playing a reed made by a local. If you want this reed with the chanter you are welcome to it though I’m not sure it would perform the same in a more humid climate. I am not a very good player yet but a sound clip can be found here:
The First Slip
I am selling because Kirk just sent me my new left-handed chanter (the chanter I’m selling is right-handed). Pictures will follow soon.

Charles Roberts Concert Drones: I puchased these from the original owner just over a year ago. Materials are blackwood, immitation ivory and dipped silver. I believe the mainstock is a stained Indian rosewood. Everything is air tight and functioning correctly. They are currently reeded with synthetic reeds made by myself and a friend (brass tubes with veneer tongue/o-ring bridle). These drones do show signs of their age (about 10 years) aesthetically but are mechanically and musically sound (no defects that I am aware of). There are no visible cracks or chips in the wood but a few of the the art. ivory pieces appear to have hairline fractures (though they have not split or chipped at all). I am selling because, again, I have placed an order for left-handed drones and I intend to focus on my chanter until those are delivered. I got a great deal on these and am only trying to get back close to what I paid for them. This would be a great deal for someone who wants to upgrade to a quality half set on a budget. I will post pictures and a sound clip soon.

Seth Gallagher Case: I purchased this from another C&Fer about a year ago. I am selling because it is more case than I need for a practice set and I’d rather have the cash for now. It is very durable plywood construction covered with fabric, tough plastic edges, and metal corners/hardware. The interior is lined with plush dark green material. There are two small holes in the front (they do not go all the way through the plywood) where I screwed in a decorative engraved name plate and I would be happy to replace this with a new plate featuring the buyer’s name at no extra charge. Pictures will follow soon.
