I have an incredible and absolutely beautiful playing Cocuswood Hawkes and Son 8 key flute for sale. I purchased it recently from a fellow C&F member and a nice guy. It is in great condition, exactly how I received it. The previous owner had Jon C. repair the original headjoint and make a new one that plays at 440A, repair a few small cracks (one on the barrel that’s virtually invisible). All are very strong and stable I have had fun playing both headjoints and have used both in performance. I think I prefer the new one overall, but the original is a little louder…at least to my ears. The pads on the flute are foam and in great shape as is the keywork. The low C C# keys are a little out of adjustment(how I received it), but it’s nothing a flute tech couldn’t put right in short order and inexpensively. I had planned to do this myself but family issues have been more important. The flute also comes with the original case, two cork grease containers, and cleaning rod. I will also include a hygrometer, small case humidistat and bore oil all purchased from “Doctor’s Products”. I have lovingly cared for this flute. It’s been humidified and oiled regularly.

I LOVE this flute! This is my dream flute! I really, really, don’t want to sell this flute but unexpected and seriously expensive family medical financial issues make me post this.
I’m asking what I paid for it, $1900 plus shipping and insurance $30. Check or Bank Money Order is acceptable but will require time to fully clear before I can send the flute. Paypal is also fine but I ask that you add 2% ($38) to help cover fees or if you use Paypal echeck I won’t ask for the 2%.
