FS: Hammy Hamilton Practice Flute.

I am a beginner penny whistle player who dared for a few days to switch to flutes, unfortunately with little success. Therefore I just sold on E- Bay two Piccolos flutes in high D ( a Dixon and a Sweetheart) and I am selling now this flute that I just bought - literally! -two days ago from TheIrishFluteStore. I only played it for a few minutes. It is absolutely like new. It is beautifully made, crafted in Ireland by Hammy Hamilton.
This instrument sells for $ 115/130 depending from the store.
I ask $ 90.00 plus shipping. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or if you wish to receive a photo. Thanks !

:astonished:

I’m sorry to hear that Gerardo
May I ask what happened? You seem rather discouraged

Maelec,

Nothing happened ! Actually, the Hamilton practice flute is great.
If I am allowed to say it, much better than a Dixon student flute that I had previously purchased.
I have just bought a Susato Low D whistle that is obviously s bit easier to play because of the lack of embochure, and I want to focus first on learning this.
Why I do not keep the Hamilton for the times when I will be more exoerienced ?
It’s just a money issue. When I buy something, I need to sell something else to finance it.

Thanks.

Hi Gerardo

that’s a far more balanced behaviour than mine (I got several brands of tin-whistles and ended not beeing able to play any of them  )
Besides, the first time I tried flute I got so frustrated that I traded my D Ollwell bamboo for a Susato F

Good luck with the low D and the sale

For your info, the Hamilton flute has been sold. Thanks.
