SOLD: Hamilton Practice Flute

I recently bought this Hamilton practice flute from a forum member who had just bought it new. I bought the flute, not because I needed another flute but because I was interested in how the flute was made and what it sounded like. Since I am a flutemaker myself, it is only fair that I offer no public opinion about the flute. Others have given their comments about the flute in recent threads.

The flute is in like new condition with no scratches, and I am asking $90 + shipping, which is what I paid for it. I also am including a simple cloth bag and a steel/cotton swab (which you will need) with the flute. This flute sells for $115 new at the online Irish Flute Store. This model has the fixed head so that it is not tunable, although Hammy has rotated the headjoint at an optimum blowing angle. I understand that it is possible to break the glue joint so that the headjoint can be rotated or adjusted slightly for tuning, should you want to do that. The finger hole reaches are what you would expect on a cylindrical-bore flute, and the inline finger holes are rather small and easy to cover.

If you are interested, please send me an email or PM.

Bump! I still have the Hammy practice flute. It’s looking for a good home.
