My wife bought this nice Hammy Hamilton practice flute for me a couple of years ago for Christmas from Doc at Irishflutestore.com. It has been played a few times but mostly collecting dust. I just don’t have the time. I already play the Uilleann pipes and whistles along with making reeds and selling cane for the pipes.
The flute is aluminum body and nylon mouth piece, plays well and is in tune. The holes are smallish and spaced close together like a normal wooden flute wood be. Over the past couple years, I’ve had this a few really good Irish flute players try it out. It sounded great in their hands and each one said that their was nothing wrong with it. There are a few minor scratches that have come with normal wear but do not affect playing.

My wife bought this for about $100 before shipping. I don’t know if these flutes are still available from Doc since they aren’t on his website now. Hammy charges about the same plus shipping from Europe. I am asking $90 US plus shipping. Great way to get into the Irish flute without spending a ton of money. Email or PM me.
