I just saw a Flogging Molly concert in Minneapolis (@First Ave.) last night. It was great as always, a little rowdy for me at times though. I was out in the throng and in the space of five minutes lost my shoe twice from people stepping on me. I never want to have to fight my way to the bottom of something like that ever again.

I was wondering if any of you know the name of the whistle/fiddle player for that band. She is quite good, though a little under used, and i was wondering if she has done any solo work, of work with any other bands.

According to the band’s official website the only woman in the band is listed as a violin player named Bridget Regan.

I have never played whistle before but would love to learn how to play along with Briget in Flogging Molly. Does anyone have a clue what whistle I would need to get or does she use different ones. They change keys alot (like in Devil’s Dance Floor) and many of their songs are in a minor key. I absolutely love their music and would love to learn to play along. Can anyone help??? Travis.
