thanks,

Hey Justine, if you see this, I’m leaving for the bodhran now and if you’re able I hope you can make it. I’ll there till the end of the sessoin most likely… later

Jack

Hey Jack - It was good to see you Sunday at the Bodhran–do you come down to SF much? I thought you played like a champ with the regulars there. Kieran, the flute player who leads the session, is a brilliant player IMO, and all the flute players there are partly responsible for my new-found love of the instrument. As I mentioned at the bar, I’m waiting on a Casey Burns Folk Flute to arrive any day now. I usually go to the session at the Bodhran at least every other week (to listen, since I’m not quite at their level yet), so maybe I’ll see you there again (and Justine if she comes too), or give me a heads up when you’re planning on coming down. By the way, are you going to the Sebastopol festival this weekend?

Jack, you should post more.

Sorry I missed you guys…I was in Orange County visiting my parents. I’ll probably head in there next weekend, though. Unless there is something else going on?

See you next time,

Justine

Hey Steven, it was good to see you there too. I’ve heard about the sebastapol festival and I thought about going. What’s it like? Is it just concerts or are there sessions, workshops and things of that nature?

Tony are you going up to this thing? Justine?

I don’t know anything about it…I might go, depending on what it is exactly.

J.

I’ve been to the Sebastopol fest the last 2 years - it’s mainly concerts, (only by some of the top players & bands in the world…) but last year there were a few workshops, albeit mostly demonstration and discussion, rather than teaching workshops. There’s also a place for informal sessioning all weekend, and loads of other stuff. I’ll be there all weekend, so let me know if you’re coming, and maybe we can meet up.

p.s. considering the session we had at the Plough on Tues, who knows what this weekend will bring!
