Eamonn Cotter flute measurements?

I’ve promised a touring fluter a nifty little semi-protective leather touring case for his Eamonn Cotter keyed flute. (We’ve decided it should be called a “flute roll”. Ha. Ha. Ha.) However, he left the country before I could measure his instrument. (Er. No jokes. Please. ) Could someone give me the approximate measurements of the three flute pieces, ie: how long should the pockets for the bits be, and how big a diameter to allow for the keys?

I’d have written Eamonn Cotter directly for this info, but have failed to find an email address for him thus far, and thought perhaps you all might be helpful. And the fluter himself might think to check his email and answer my question re: measurements…but I am not holding my breath over that one.

Any help in this matter would be gratefully accepted.

Head Joint: approx 9 1/2" L X 1 1/8" Dia

Body: approx 13 1/4" L X 1 1/8" dia (at the top joint)

Foot Joint: approx 5 1/2" X 1" diameter

Sorry I don’t have a keyed flute for comparison

Chuck

head joint: 9 !/2" X 1 3/16" diameter
main body: 12 3/4" x about 1 3/4" over the c and long f keys
foot joint: 5 1/2" x about 1 3/8" over the e flat key, the touch on the e flat key extends about 3/8" above the top of the foot.

You guys are great!

So, allowing for a bit of wiggle room does this look about right?:

Head Joint Casing: 9.75" X 1.5"
Body Casing: 13.5" X 1.9"
Foot Joint Casing: 5.75" X 1.5"

Chuck and JDSD, would you please send me a private message with your mailing address? I’d really like to send you something for your trouble. Thanks VERY much.
