Couple Flutes (not mine) available

There are two flutes that I’ve been asked to post a note here that are for sale.
I carry no profit or renumeration for these sales, but I have played both flutes and can speak to that. Questions, you can do so privately on email, and I can provide the contacts that way. Please, serious folks only. Cuts down on …whatever.

One is a keyless Desi Seery. Owner is in the NYC area. Her price: $300

Typical Seery and it’s a good flute.

The other is a German anonymous, fully restored (Ralph Sweet, I believe) 8key flute. Tone holes are inlaid german silver. Nice looking. Plays well. Range is ~435-452. You won’t blow any windows off with this one, but it’s solid, probably best for someone looking to get into keys for a little bit of dough. Asking is $475. No case.

 The Desi Seery is no longer for sale.

It has found a new home with me!

The previous owner of the flute, Linda is an exceedingly nice person!

Thanks for the contact David!

Sincerely,

Jordan

Jordan,

Does that mean I shouldn’t bring my Seery to session this week for you to try?

Let me know what you think of the Seery…I’ve been playing mine more recently since I’ve been short of time, and they really are good flutes.

Eric

my pleasure, jordan
glad it worked out so well

see…not all of us are profiteering here (as some very old posts have dragged on about)…

sometimes we just want to help our bretheren.

now…
there’s this bridge that I know someone is trying to be rid of…

I hope that it is not the same bridge that you sold me last week.

Denny

damn
foiled again!

It seems both flutes have been sold.
Thanks folks and the owners say the same!

Now…about that bridge…

Hello all, I’m new to this forum. I am the new owner of the german anonymous flute. My first keyed flute, how exciting! A very easy, sweet player. Thanks for facilitating Dave!

Welcome, MikeC
