Copley & Boegli 8-Key Flute Pictures!

Euipment… It’s all pro. Nikon D100 is the camera we use. We have a studio for Whistle & Drum so we are able to get great results… For this particular shot I used a piece of white plexiglass. All in all there’s probably well over $5000 in equipment behind that shot… Lighting is a studio external flash with a soft box.

Thanks for the kind words about the pics… We’ve worked hard to get our shots right… It helps to have a good friend who’s a pro photographer.

Best,

A studio for whistle and drum? Man, you must have some serious donors for funding of a non-core activity like a studio. Right on!

That definitely is a beautiful flute Blayne. I have a keyless on order form Dave myself. Should be ready in the next week or two if he’s on schedule. I can hardly wait!

Yes, these are very nice flutes.

About the Olwell F#: true. I notice, though that it sharpens with a bit of extra pressure just like the low D when it’s being played to harden it. You get a hard F#, then. I wonder if that would be Pat’s intention?

Boy that’s a beauty Blaine.

Do you feel your C/C# keys have compromised your Low D at all?
