Okay, If you’re easily offended by high whistle prices, I warn you to exit this post now…Still here, eh? Okay, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
I’d like to raise some money for a trip I’ll be taking shortly. One way for me to do this is to part with a few of my expensive whistles. As many of you know this is not something I often do. However, if I can get the prices I’m looking for, then I’ll make the sacrifice and give up two of my practically new (8 months old) Copeland whistles. Here they are, price includes U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail Shipping and insurance, to any destination in the U.S. I’d be willing to ship outside the U.S., but the shipping would cost more.
Copeland Brass Low F whistle - $500. (Current price from Copeland Woodwinds $350 + shipping)
Copeland Soprano Nickel D whistle - $400 (Current price from Copeland Woodwinds $269 + shipping)
Both of these whistles are in practically new condition, and have just a little of the usual tarnishing that comes from being handled. I am the original owner of both whistles and I waited a looong time for both.
I realize these prices may seem high at first, however the wait for a Copeland whistle can be well over a year, and they don’t even give estimated delivery times any more (which I think is wise).
Also, I recently paid TWICE the original selling price for an O’Riordan here just a month or so ago, so I don’t think these prices are out of line for someone who really wants a Copeland but doesn’t want to deal with a long wait.
The Nickel D’s are rather rare these days by the way.
Anyone seriously interested in either of these whistles can contact me via e-mail at Blue-Devil@webtv.net.
Cheers!
Loren
