Whistles for Sale

I’m clearing out some more whistles to raise cash for a new O’Riordan (Pronounced O’REARdan I’m told…) Blackwood Concert D that I’ve been offered. (Tony, you’ll be happy to know I’ll stop harrassing you now, heh heh.)

Here’s what’s on the block this time:

Copeland Nickel Soprano D $375.

(The Copeland Low F has been sold)

New Style Burke Brass C $100.

Noah Herbison telescoping D $ 60.

Chieftain Low G $ 65.

The Copeland, Burke and Laughing whistle are in top condition, and play quite well.

The Chieftain is okay. Visually it’s in virtually perfect condition, but it get’s mixed reviews from those who play it. The former owner thought it was crap, personally I don’t think it’s that bad, otherwise I would have sold it a long time ago. IMO it might make a good whistle for someone on a limited budget who’d like to have a go at Low Whistle without dropping a bundle. Sort of a cheap stepping stone to the Low D. I’ve tried to price the whistle accordingly.

Prices include Priority Mail Delivery to U.S. destinations and all whistles are ready for immediate shipment upon receipt of payment. I can accept PayPal if you’re in a rush. Contact me via e-mail if interested.

Cheers,

Loren

The Laughing whistle has been sold, and the Chieftain is on hold for someone.

Thanks,

Loren

Yes, please, whoever is selling their O’REARdon to Loren, don’t renege. I won’t relax until he has his whistle. I’ve put an email filter on his requests to buy my as-yet-unreceived whistle. I made the mistake of gloating to him that I’ve been on the waiting list for almost 2years and it shouldn’t be long before I receive the call. Loren was (and is) too sorry to sign up. Didn’t think of it 2yrs ago. Sorry, no sympathy for that lack of forsight. I’ll post many tunes to Clips and Snips when I get the whistle. I’ll call them “Loren’s Lament.” Listen closely for the tittering at the ends of the tunes.
