Please forgive the cross-posting, but I wanted to be sure people are aware of the policy:
There have been submissions of copyrighted material of late to the Clips and Snips site. As the owner of the web page, I am liable for the infringement. Because of this, and the possible $150,000 fine per infringement, no copyrighted music will be accepted without proof of permission to record the music from the owner. I know, the chances of the owner coming after me are slim, but that’s not really the point. I’m not willing to take the risk, it’s illegal, and I can’t promote it.
People may choose to post copyrighted tunes on their own sites (your personal decision) with a mention on the Clips and Snips site. We just cannot host them.
