Just was thinking how cool this board is and how much I appreciate it (and, subsequently, have learned from it). I wonder if other instrument specific musical boards have luminaries/experts from the field posting and participating, folks such as (in no particular order):

Harry Bradley

Terry McGee

Casey Burns

Hammy Hamilton

Conal O’Grada

Kevin Crawford

Josh Dukes

I’m sure I’m forgetting some folks, and am not mentioning all the other great great players that are members (Rob, Tom and Gabriel come to mind).

Thanks to you all, to Dale and the moderators for keeping this thing going and making it so vital and significant.

Hey, the idea is that other folks can fill in all the rest of the great folk around here. I’m half brain dead, didn’t you know, suffering from Taking-care-of-young-children syndrome, IQ loss at least 50 points.

Given the esoteric nature of what we play, I’d guess forums relating to more well-known instruments do not attract “luminaries” like ours does. Simply put, there aren’t all that many ITM wooden flute players out there so it’s easy to congregate us all in one spot.
