After hanging around here for the last 7 or 8 months it’s time to admit my addiction and say"thank you" to all of you who have so freely given their advice,opinions,and observations.As I have aquired my little collection of 4 inexpensive D flutes,there have been no insurmountable problems or unlooked for surprises.The information available here is invaluable to those of us who live in the boonies.I learned about Whoa disease on the whistle forum but why didn’t anyone here mention Foa disease???Ennyhoo,it’s nice to take up a new hobby for the first time in ten years. I agree that this board is an invaluable resource. I’m in southern Idaho and there aren’t many Irtrad musicians around. The few that I have met have been because of these forums.
