Hi

Hi everybody! I have been lurking on this board for more time than I would care to admit. I’m a long time subscriber to Dale’s newsletter.
I currently have about 15 whistles. my favorite being O’Briain’s improved D from ShannaQuay. I have been playing for about 5 years but have only been making progress for the last 2. Maybe if I spent less time online I would have more time to practice!

Happy whistling!

A warm Irish welcome to ya, 24BRIX!

Take care,
BB

Truer words were never spoken. Welcome to the sunlight after an extended lurk. A bit late to welcome you to the board if you’ve already been here.

I hope I haven’t offended anyone, but an occasional light dig to get everyone to practice more is not a bad thing.
Tony

Glad you finally posted…please don’t feel shy about it; I think I can safely say we all love to read about other peoples’ experiences with the wide variety of whistles out there!

“I currently have about 15 whistles.”

Hmmm, new to posting but not new to WHOA! Welcome, fellow addict!

Frank

15 is a good number…Low enough to be managable,High enough to offer a good selection.
Dan

Okay, okay already Tony, I’m logging off and going to practice!!!

Hi 24BRIX, welcome!

Where in the NW are you? I spent a few months in Corvallis Oregon and loved it.

Your username looks like a ham radio callname, is it?

See you around!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am pretty shy about posting. In fact, this is the only board I’ve ever posted on! I’ve only had a computer for about 2 1/2 years. I’ve found alot of whistle help on this site and others(Brother Steve’s).
Avanutria, I live in a small rural town in Oregon. It’s about 40 miles SW of Portland. There are alot of vinyards where I live. I got the name 24Brix from a wine tasting room down the street. I just liked the sound of it.
