For those who don’t get the CTL mailings, they’ll be featured on Fiona Ritchie’s PBS program “The Thistle and Shamrock” this week. It’s from a live concert they gave in North Carolina last summer.

The show’s broadcast will depend on when individual stations choose to play it. Here, it’s at 5pm on Sundays.

PBS: You know, public radio? The low-power stations that the right wingers all hate and that politicos and universities are always threatening to shut down if we don’t pony up more tribute.

Nothing salves a weary soul like a cheap whistle.

Well, I s’pose I’ll have to load up my stereo with a fresh tape Sunday afternoon! I would be doing wrong by my CTL friends if I missed a show, either live or on the radio!

Chuck, I think the program is on NPR, National Public Radio, part of PBS…

In Houston, the NPR station doesns’t carry T&S, but you can get it streaming media from a lot of stations that do.

Thanks for the heads up. I will load up the ol’ minidisc recorder and record T&S Sunday when it airs here.

I never understood why some people hate NPR. But then I’m a listener so I guess they’re got me brainwashed :wink:
